Our 2025 Shakedown is officially wrapped up...
We’re all tired, a little sore, and maybe a little soggy, but we are SO thankful!
First, we want to thank each and every one of you who showed up this weekend for us. While we certainly could have gone without the rain this weekend, we are super thankful that it held off as much as it did. Our forecast at the beginning of the week was not promising, but it seemed almost like we were being protected from the storms at times when some of the rest of the area was being drenched. Even with the rain coming down once or twice a day, you all showed up and stayed put for the amazing talent on stage. Attendees banded together and helped out when they didn’t have to, bands helped other bands, vendors fed and looked after each other, and more. That’s really what it’s all about. People looking out for other people. Even if we got a little muddy.
We want to thank our bands who showed up and put on amazing performances for all of you. Something that we didn’t realize for a while was that EVERY artist on the lineup was from within 4 hours from here. To have that many ridiculously talented people that close to home is such a blessing for all of us that identify as music lovers. These artists waited out rain, played through some super hot heat, and they never complained once. Every set was unique and absolutely amazing.
We want to thank Creekmore Lighting and Production’s Dustin Creekmore and Christopher Wheeler for the amazing lights and sound all weekend. They pushed through the weekend and had every artist looking and sounding stellar.
We also want to thank our vendors for all the hard work they put in taking care of all of us. Feeding us, clothing us, making sure we had cold water, and cool trinkets, you all played a massive role in making the weekend as smooth and memorable as possible.
Lastly, we want to thank our volunteers and media personnel who came out and worked hard to make sure our event went smoothly and was captured properly. We can’t wait to see all the pictures and videos!
Behind the scenes we scrambled, bled, and maybe cussed a little, but you all made us feel better all the while. Every time we were stressed, we saw all of you having a great time, smiling and enjoying yourselves, and it reminded us that everything we do out here is for a reason. You checked on us, hugged us, encouraged us, helped out, and you made us feel like we did something right. Thank you all. Keep doing what you are doing.
We love all of you so much. Thank you for an amazing 4th Little Sandy Shakedown!
