🏡🌱 COMMUNITY PROJECT — WE’RE LOOKING FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES, CONTRACTORS & VOLUNTEERS! 🌱🏀

We have a BIG vision for the outdoor space at The Caterpillar Clubhouse, and we’re hoping some amazing people in our community might want to help us bring it to life! 💚🦋

Our goal is to transform the grassy outdoor area pictured below into a safe, fun, and engaging space for the children and families we serve.

Our vision includes:

🏀 Outdoor Sport Court / Activity Area
🛝 Play & Recreation Space
🌻 Children’s Garden / Learning Garden
🔨 New or Improved Fencing
🏠 Relocating Our Existing Shed
🌱 Landscaping & Outdoor Improvements

As a nonprofit organization, we’re working with a limited budget, so we would LOVE to connect with local contractors, landscapers, fencing companies, excavation companies, concrete/paving companies, garden centers, businesses, organizations, or individuals who may be interested in helping.

There are lots of ways to get involved! ❤️

🎒 The Caterpillar Clubhouse Bridge Camp starts Monday, August 17—and spots are still available!

Help your child bridge the gap between summer fun and the first day of school with arts and crafts, sports, dance, reading, games, and more!

📅 August 17–21, 2026
⏰ Camp: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
☀️ Morning care available: 8:00–10:00 a.m.
👧🧒 Ages 5–11

What an amazing way to wrap up the week! Here’s a polished Facebook post with lots of energy:

🌟 WOW… JUST WOW! What a way to end MetamorphUS Summer Camp! 🌟

Our campers had the BEST. DAY. EVER. to close out an incredible week! 💚🦋

🚑 Our friends from Mutual Aid Ambulance and Westmoreland 911 gave our campers an exciting look into emergency services and the amazing people who help keep our communities safe.

🐾 And then came some VERY special visitors from the Pawsitive Impact Therapy Team! Their adorable therapy dogs received plenty of pets, hugs and love — not only from our campers, but from our CMA students too! 🐶❤️

A huge THANK YOU once again to the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board for making this opportunity possible. Because of your support, these campers were able to spend the week learning, exploring careers, building friendships, staying active and making memories. 🦋

🏅 We ended our final day with gold medals, proud campers and LOTS of smiles! What a week!

And we couldn’t have done it without the incredible people who poured their time and energy into our campers. Thank you Shane, Kat, Sophia, Justin, Stephanie, Ally, Alivia, Basil, Chloe, Aayla and Ellie! 💚

Day 3 of MetamorphUS Summer Camp was so full of fun that we forgot to post! 😄

A huge thank you to Cooley Consulting LLC and N’ Zone Sports for spending the day with our campers and sharing valuable lessons on leadership, teamwork, and working together. These are skills that will help our campers succeed both in school and in their future careers.

The campers also created their own colorful tie-dye wellness shirts, learned the fundamentals of kickball, and stayed active while building confidence, friendships, and healthy habits.

What. A. Day! 💙💚

Thank you to everyone who continues to make MetamorphUS Summer Camp such an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

🧠⚽ Day 2 of MetamorphUS Summer Camp: Brainpower at Work!

Today, our campers explored Building a Future in Healthcare with students from Laurel Highlands Workforce & Opportunity Center and resident physicians from Independence Health System. They learned about exciting healthcare careers, hand washing and discovered how their brains help them learn, grow, and achieve their goals!

The fun continued as campers practiced their soccer skills, enjoyed gymnastics, and ended the day together with a meaningful Reflection Circle.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board for funding this wonderful experience and to our parents and guardians for trusting us with their children.

Another amazing day of learning, movement, friendship, and fun! 💜🦋
