Look no further for the BEST DJs!

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Tom and Sue DJ at our wedding reception. I could not have asked for a better service. The playlist was immaculate from start to finish and perfect for every special moment. They made sure a timeline was perfect and took so much weight off of our shoulders. They kept consistent communication and always made us feel so special. They did a PERFECT job selecting songs for a mixed age group of people and the dance floor ALWAYS had people on it. I've actually never been to a wedding where the dance floor was always being used the entire time. They were very accommodating on timing when I needed to run off to do something and would play more songs until I could be back to the main area. They also navigated perfectly with having some people with quite a few drinks in them and made it so hilarious and fun. I think one of my favorite parts was at the end of the night and we kept thinking it would be the last song but then they would fake us out and play another like an encore and everybody lost their minds. I can honestly say I will recommend them to everybody for any occasion and they are worth so much more than they charge. They helped make our day special and absolutely perfect. Thank you to DJ Tom and Sue for making it all happen! A good DJ can make or break an event and you will never regret choosing them.

Suit vs Tuxedo

After DJing hundreds of weddings, I've noticed something that might be a little controversial:

Most men look better in a well-fitted suit than they do in a rented tuxedo.

When a tux fits properly, it looks fantastic. The problem is that many rental tuxes don't fit properly. I've seen groomsmen swimming in oversized jackets, baggy pants pooling around their shoes, sleeves that are too long, and jackets that seem to fit everyone and no one at the same time. The result is often a look that photographs poorly and can make an otherwise sharp-looking group appear awkward.

On the other hand, a well-tailored suit tends to fit better because it's actually being adjusted to the person wearing it. Today's suits can look every bit as elegant and formal as a tux while often appearing more modern and flattering.

There's also the cost factor.

In the Pittsburgh area a a tuxedo rental commonly runs between $200 and $300 per person once shoes, accessories, and upgrades are included. For a wedding party of several men, that's a lot of money spent on clothing that gets returned the next day.

Meanwhile, a quality suit can often be purchased for $300, with tailoring costing another $50 to $100. While that's more than a rental, you're purchasing something you can wear again and again.

A good navy, charcoal, or black suit can serve you well for years.

Then there's the return process. Rental tuxes have to be returned on time, often immediately after the wedding weekend. If something gets lost, stained, damaged, or simply forgotten in a hotel room, the replacement charges can be expensive. That's one more thing for a groom or groomsman to worry about during a busy wedding weekend.

At the end of the day, every couple should choose what fits their vision. If you've always dreamed of a classic black-tie wedding, a tuxedo may absolutely be the right choice.

But if you're trying to maximize value, comfort, and appearance, don't overlook the possibility of investing in a well-tailored suit. Based on what I've seen from behind the DJ booth, it's often the better long-term investment—and the better-looking option too.

LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the DJ you want!

Tom and Sue are incredibly professional. From the get go it really felt like they cared about our day. They were incredibly responsive and communicative. They knew our venue well and collaborated with the team seamlessly. Tom and Sue took the time to get to know us as a couple and our music taste. Tom even officiated our wedding, which was so heartfelt and personal! He even learned a hand fasting tradition to help us have the unity ceremony that we wanted!

Tom and Sue read the room and played music that we and our guests loved. They interacted with our guests and the dance floor was always busy. They even found special moments for us to be surrounded by our loved ones, and that will forever be a cherished memory for me.

Additionally, they provide phenomenal value for their rate. Goodness, I don’t think you could get a higher quality DJ at a better price. If you are getting married, trust me, you want Tom and Sue. You won’t regret it!
