The ‘Boro Sessions presents "David Burney Sings Johnny Cash" - in tribute, delivering "Cash's classic songs" with a distinct, engaging, and heartfelt vocal style... For nearly 20 years, David Burney has fronted the nationally touring tribute band, The Johnny Folsom 4. This summer, The ’Boro Sessions brings Burney's updated one-man performance, "Hello, I’m Johnny Cash”, to Greensboro at a seated listening room concert on Sunday, June 28, 2:00-4:00PM/doors open at 1:00PM. Advanced ticket sales end online at midnight the night before the show; however, tickets WILL BE available at the door on the day of Show, even if the ticketing platform says “all ticket sales have ended". This phrase only refers to advanced online ticket sales, but tickets are available at the door, and we can’t wait to see you there!

The venue sells beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, sodas, etc. as well as pizza and bakery snacks. Free parking is available in the venue parking lot, on the street, and in the adjacent gravel lot on the corner of Gate City Blvd & S. Elm St.

i've been going to shows at the Flat Iron for years.* So when i saw that the venue was in financial trouble i donated to their gofundme and bought advanced tix to my next five favorite shows. i know not everyone can donate, but please consider going to the best local live music venue in Greensboro when you can.

*i'm glad it's no smoking now : )
