The final week to see “What remains… “ my solo exhibition at UNCg Gatewood Gallery. Hours are M-F 9-4. I’ll be in Greensboro on Thursday and Friday if you know you are stopping in, please reach out. It went by too quickly and with all the storms, travel has been rough in NC, so I appreciate the folks that did get to see it!

“What remains…” is my solo exhibition at UNCG’s Gatewood Gallery in Greensboro, NC. The works chosen highlight my interest in the natural world and the ways memory resides in places.
If you are in the area, please stop by! The reception is 4 - 6 pm on Jan. 22 at with an artist talk at 4:30. Otherwise the gallery is open M-F 9-4 pm. Check the link in my bio or reach out if you need more information.

I had a wonderful experience being a vendor at End Paper this past weekend! Thanks to .librarian and all the folks at the NCMA who made this event happen. I was so thrilled to chat with folks genuinely interested in books, prints and paper. I wish I’d had time to see the rest of the festival and events, but it was a fun and busy day talking about handmade paper, sewing books and interacting with folks. Here’s the only photo of me behind my table! If you bought paper, books or art from me, thank you!!! I appreciate the kind support and hope you’ll stay in touch. Looking forward to 2027!

Sorting through batches of handmade paper from this summer’s production for End Paper Art Book Fair this weekend. I’ll have some handmade paper, books, and works on paper for sale on Sunday. Come by and say hello! My students will be there on Saturday. It’s going to be a fun weekend of books and paper!

The conference in Minneapolis packed so much inspiration in the short time I was able to be there. Mary Hark gave an unforgettable keynote presentation which truly “knocked it out of the park” Lovely to see old friends and their work 1- 4 Mary Hark, her amazing work in paper #6-7 Amy Jacobs, Giselle and Aimee Lee. And a view of many lakes.. thanks NAHP organizers and all the folks who helped make this happen!

I’m excited to participate in the Durham Works on Paper Round Up next Friday, May 23. There’s 60 artists participating; which means lots of paper, prints, books, zines in the lovely, historic Durham Armory. Come by and see me! The event is from 6-10 pm and I’ll have handmade paper, prints and ink drawings on my table.

Anchorlight’s Open House is this Saturday, May 3 from 4-7 pm. Stop by and check out my new ink drawings and see if my studio has transformed any from its’ current chaotic state (swipe left to see). Anchorlight has over 25 artists’ studios, most of which will be open. There’s also an excellent show of Maria Britton’s textile and sculpture work. The install is beautiful! Hope to see you Saturday!!
