My name is Tyler. I’m the father of Stevie and Jeraiya, and I’m doing everything I can to bring my kids home and keep our family stable.
I’ve spent the last few years working hard to build a legitimate, stable life — getting licensed as a tattoo artist, forming my LLC, rebuilding my credit, and staying focused on doing things the right way. I believed that if I stayed consistent and followed the rules, I’d be able to provide for my kids and protect our future.
What I didn’t expect was how easily stability can unravel when systems move slowly and communication is restricted.
Right now, I’m dealing with ongoing court delays, limited access to my children, housing instability, and loss of transportation — all at the same time. When you’re fighting on multiple fronts, even simple things like getting to work or keeping steady income become harder than they should be.
I am not an absent father. I am a present father who is being blocked from consistent parenting time through delays, missed responses, and controlled communication that keeps stretching this situation out.
Over the past year, everything has stacked up, and most recently we were locked out of our home. We are working to secure temporary housing and basic needs while I continue to work and stay compliant with every legal and professional requirement in front of me.
I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because families fall into crisis quietly, and people deserve to know when support could actually keep a family from falling through the cracks.
If you believe kids deserve consistent access to their parents, and that working parents deserve a real chance to stay stable, any support right now makes a real difference — whether that’s donating, sharing this post, or connecting us to resources.
We’re still here. I’m still fighting for my kids. And I’m grateful to everyone who’s shown up for us.
