More than 1.2 million people in the U.S. are living with HIV, and nearly 40% are Blackβdespite making up just 12% of the population. Systemic barriers, stigma, and lack of access to care continue to drive these disparities, leading to higher rates of HIV/AIDS-related deaths.
Addressing this crisis means protecting, advocating for, and expanding programs that provide free to low-cost HIV prevention and AIDS treatment.
