Went to my prosthesis today to pick up some parts for my leg. In their shop I saw a skeleton foot on a prosthetic so I came straight home and made me one. Needless to say I had everything needed here at the house, lol.

The gray prosthetic leg is my very first leg made early 2001. After being hit by a car on my motorcycle, June 6, 2000 they rebuilt me and my motorcycle. When they painted the motorcycle they painted the leg to match.

In the beginning of my magical pirate career that's the only prosthetic leg I had. I would take an allen wrench remove the foot and put the pole with stopper on before I went to the gig. Then a couple years later I had the wooden Peg Leg made.

The leg with the skull and crossbones is my second prosthetic leg made probably in 2004 or so.

The prosthetic legs hanging on the wall I bought on the internet. The one on the left is Civil War and the one on the right that looks like a crutch is pre Civil war. Might have been used by an ole pirate.

With our Time Travel theme show I use my third prosthetic leg made back in 2009 probably. When trying to decide how to create a steampunk time travel prosthetic leg I took the footshell off and realized it looked very robotic. So I had a shoe shop put some very thick rubber on the bottom of the foot plate. Then dressed the upper part of the prosthetic with leather, gears cogs pipes etc.

This morning's business meeting at the Kitchen Round Table.

Topic: Which alternative will be more conveniently stored in our motorhome for our 11-day and 24 day fairs?

Resolution:
While fresh grapefruit is our choice at home we have made the decision to go with grapefruit slices (no sugar added) in a jar for traveling.

February was busy for us with several Magic, Mystery & Pirate History programs, for many 4th grade students.

March has been filled with a circus theme show for elementary schools featuring magic and positive life lessons, along with a few middle and high school performances of magic with a message on their level.

Festival and fair season starts in April and runs through October. We’re excited to be part of many events this year, including a 24-day fair in New York. Festivals and fairs are always special because audiences of all ages come together to enjoy the show.

Between school performances we are also preparing our new “Magic of America – 250th Anniversary” themed show with a Time Traveler flair. Louisa has been hard at work sewing costumes, and I recently re-stained the stage for the first time since building it in 2015, while also creating some red, white & blue themed magic effects.

The pictures below are AI images, but the our costuming is accurate right down to Lou Lou’s red nose. Our costume in the Magic of America is AI for now—Louisa’s real version will be even better!
