A slow, productive Sunday. My walk to the studio that I still get to do for another week, decorating a beautiful ceramic bowl one of my artist friends made for me, resting a ‘study of skopelos’ on a canvas remnant, putting the finishing touches on my latest large art piece and enjoying walking Skopelos Town after dinner. Starting with an early rise, I was met by wind and clouds. Fear not! It got very warm! I started to walk the 1/2 mile to SkopArt but was picked up by an older Greek man who insisted on driving me down the windy road. Ok! My first non-hitch hiking experience in Greece ❤️ Enjoyed a great day painting basically outside (but covered) and getting distracted by the views of the Aegean Sea. We hit the road around 4:30 and drove to the other side of the island to walk the 200 steps to the top of the famous Mama Mia chapel. It was all so beautiful and inspiring!

Made it to Skopelos, Greece. Rented a car, Found my villa, experienced grocery shopping on a Saturday night (soooo crowded- oh, parking in an olive grove), met my artist cohorts and picked out my studio, then went shopping and to the beach! A big day!

Thank you Athens for a fabulous few days. You are a treasure. Now —- off to Skopelos!
