Caspian Arts Vermont

Caspian Arts Vermont We are artists who live, work and create art in the towns of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

Caspian Arts Vermont was the original idea of Marion Stegner (Jeweller and silversmith) who, in 2010, gathered together a number of artists and craftspersons living in and around the Greensboro area creating The Kingdom Crafts Alliance. That year saw the opening of the Millers Thumb Gallery and Kingdom Crafts Alliance were invited to host a summer long show for all the members. In 2011 it was deci

ded to expand the intake area to surrounding towns and change the name to Caspian Arts. With Judy Dales (renowned quilter) at the helm, that year saw the beginning of the Caspian Arts Studio Tour which is now an annual event. In addition to the annual studio Tour Caspian Arts has held exhibitions at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro, the Whitewater Gallery in East Hardwick, the Emile A. Gruppe Gallery in Jericho and the MAC Center for the Arts in Newport before establishing their own seasonal gallery first at the Yellow Barn in East Craftsbury and now at the Grange in Greensboro.
