Boogie Buddies is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization based in the NC Piedmont Triad that hosts Carolina Shag dance events for children. Carolina Shag is a fun, partnered dance that is recognized as one of North Carolina's state dances! It offers social, competitive, and scholarship opportunities for children! Our goal is to not only promote Carolina Shag to children in a fun way, but also to pro

mote socialization through dance events and partnered dancing. We hope that the children that meet through Boogie Buddies will become lifelong friends with a common interest in Carolina Shag. All Boogie Buddies events are free to children and their families.

This scholarship offers financial aid to students who have attended Junior SOS that have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and community service.
