We’re an all-volunteer group inspired by prison book initiatives around the country, which have come into being during a massive increase in imprisonment since the late twentieth century. We distribute books to contribute to the education, entertainment and support of incarcerated people. We recognize that educational programs and libraries in prisons are severely limited or lacking. It is importa

nt to us to open up lines of communication between incarcerated people and people outside the walls, and to deepen our understanding of both the causes and effects of the rapid expansion of mass incarceration in recent decades. Ultimately, we believe in the possibility of a world without prisons, where no one profits from anyone else’s misery, and where everyone in our community has their needs met and the opportunity to develop their potential in any way they desire.

Free Comic Book Day 2026 is
Saturday May 2nd from eleven until seven! That's next weekend! We're really excited to see yall!
Here's some details about the event:
Free Comics: All guests get a couple free comics, stock is limited. Get more comics by bringing donations of sanitary products and or unexpired and non perishable food for the Easthampton Community Center. More free comics for customers who come in costume!
Bargains: buy one get one half of everything (except for New Release Single Issues.).
Dollar comics are fifty cent comics! 20% off back issues!
Our guests:
Artists: Brett Kelley, Tanner Ogle and OmgXero. Author: G Michael Dobbs. Cosplay by Jon York. Andy Curto, previous owner of Comics N'More, will be tabling selling cool stuff too! And you already know that Sam, Phoebe and Xtian will be there for sure!
