e and cheap workshops in downtown Greenfield, Mass. We are a group of artists, living and working in this area, who wish to create a place where artists (others as well as ourselves) can gather and share resources. We have lathes for cutting records, as well C.D. and tape duplicators and are in the process of acquiring both a risograph and giclee printing machine, which will all be available for public use. Looky Here will be a public archive of community where brave, creative ideas are celebrated and discussed. We believe that art is a way of life, and in that sense, we hope to facilitate that pursuit. Looky Here will be opening it's doors within a matter of weeks.

Quilt on Wednesdays! This is an 8 week long quilting course with Sarah King from 9/9/26-10/28/26 from 5:30-7:30pm
This course is a supportive class for improvised projects on varying scales, suited to help students at the beginner level and the experienced pursue a project of their own design. We will investigate improvised practices and explore the journey of this type of quilting through the structure of a sampler quilt. The 8 weeks will center on each student discovering their own personality as an improvised quilter and find confidence to explore their instincts. The hope with this course is to help students understand their own quilting personality while also developing skills on sewing and accomplishing a finished work. Each week students will be led with a new improvising prompt, skill or concept that will be turned into a block. Through these blocks, students will learn to set strategies for their process while also learning to cope with the evolutions and shifts that come up in improvising. Students will also learn how to share work and get feedback from other students and build community in making.

Quilting is as much about the process as it is about the finished quilt. It is an exercise in exploring one’s relationship to navigating entropy: finding narrative and pattern in chaos. Playing with how many possibilities and pieces and colors and textures are before you and empowering oneself to make decisions and be flexible to change.

What is GAAC?
The Greenfield Accessible Arts Coalition (GAAC) was born out of a shared desire to make the arts more accessible in Greenfield. Recognizing the need to stop working in silos, brick and motor Greenfield-based arts nonprofits came together to create a coordinated network that supports and grows the arts community.
What is the Greenfield Art Summit?
The Greenfield Art Summit is designed to foster genuine connections between local artists and arts organizations. Using an open space format, participants will help shape the conversation around shared challenges, opportunities, and ideas. Together, we'll identify community needs, share resources, and spark new collaborations that strengthen Greenfield's creative community.
Am I Invited?
Artists of all kinds are welcome. Whether you're a writer, musician, painter, filmmaker, cartoonist, actor, director, playwright, puppeteer, comedian, humorist, DJ, clown, photographer—or work in any other creative discipline—we'd love to have you join us. RISO Animation with Kelli Anderson! (2 day workshop 9/11-12) Sign up on our calendar!

This 2 day weekend workshop, taught by the one and only Kelli Anderson! will take place at Looky Here in Greenfield, MA. We will cover the entire process of printing a short looping animation: taking it from a video to a 2 color printed sheet, to a printed moving animation. We will be working on our own laptops and the Looky Here Risograph, which has florescent pink, yellow, teal and black ink.

In the first session, Friday September 11th from 7-9pm, we will be preparing our print files and sending them to the Riso. (You will need to come with a video ready!)

In the second session, Saturday September 12th 11-2pm, you will make your animation come to life! (instruction will be led in Photoshop, but alternative tool ideas are welcome!)

Looky Here staff will operate the Riso, but participants are welcome to watch and learn!
