Greencastle Summer Music Festival FREE music events bringing the community together with friends making music for friends on Wednesdays from Memorial Day through mid August .

All performances are held on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the main hall of Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church (unless otherwise noted). It's all about connecting with each other through music. We love this music--you will, too!

🎷 A look back at an unforgettable evening of jazz at GSMF!

George Wolfe, Steve Snyder, Susan Merriman, Rich Cohen, Jonathan Block, and Sam Green brought the history of jazz to life through music, improvisation, and storytelling, exploring the sounds and social forces that shaped jazz in the 1930s and 1940s.

Join us this Sunday, Aug. 23, at 4:00 p.m. at Music on the Square for “A Reunion of Old Friends,” the final concert of the Greencastle Summer Music Festival’s 2026 summer season.

Pianist Lorna Griffitt returns to Greencastle with violinist Haroutune Bedelian, joining pianist Claude Cymerman and cellist Eric Edberg for an afternoon of chamber music by Clara Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Bizet, and Saint-Saëns—and a musical reunion years in the making.

✨ A few moments from Bluegrass Night with Blue Flame at GSMF!

Thank you to Blue Flame for an evening of outstanding musicianship, lively improvisation, and the unmistakable energy of bluegrass. The concert was especially meaningful as we celebrated the 22-year partnership between the Greencastle Summer Music Festival and Gobin Church, whose tradition of “radical hospitality” has made these Wednesday evening concerts a cherished summer tradition. It was a wonderful evening that brought together music, community, and celebration.
