We are excited to see our preschoolers for the princess classes this week and next!! 👑

A few quick reminders:

We do a drop off system for classes. Registration forms should be on file for each dancer in the event that we need to contact you during their lesson. Parents are invited to come in for 15 minutes during our last class (Thursday, June 18th), as we will have a surprise visitor!

Dancers should come inside for their class at 5:30 pm if possible, as we often have other classes before this one on these nights.

Please send your dancer with a water bottle! It is hot this week and we want to make sure our dancers stay hydrated.

Please let us know if you have questions. We are looking forward to a fun couple of weeks! 💕

A new era has begun. Those of you who were at our recital on May 9th are already aware, but as of today I am retired as the owner and director of Greenbrier Dance Academy. It is bittersweet because of all the wonderful memories I have of teaching in Greenbrier, where my dance career began in 1978! (Do the math…that’s 48 years ago.). I was a junior in high school, not quite 16 years old when I opened my first dance studio here. And the years have just flown by! Although I’ll still be teaching part time at GDA..just a few hours a week, my duties as director are done. Miss Kylie Snowden was a student of mine from preschool until she graduated and began teaching for me at Searcy School of Dance. She later purchased SSD from me and has been a successful studio owner/director ever since. So I have all the confidence in the world in passing the torch on to her. Her kindness, dedication, and work ethic are to be admired. And so I turn it over to the new owner of Greenbrier Dance Academy, Miss Kylie Snowden!
