Through the intertwining narratives of unionized factory employees on strike against a tight-fisted management, Lynn Nottage crafts a masterful depiction of the forces that divide and conquer us. Yet along with the workers' rage and despair, there’s poignant humor and abundant humanity in their daily lives. This Pulitzer Prize winning drama is a parable of what happens when you don’t know how to resist, and provides a cautionary tale to all of us in our rapidly changing political, social and economic world.

We’re looking for additional help shoveling snow from the sidewalk in front of the Greenbelt Arts Center so our cast and crews can safely get into the theater. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fun and surprisingly informative night at the Greenbelt Arts Center!

We dove into some seriously entertaining presentations, including Armor and Costuming in Film, the REAL story of how Tchaikovsky died, and a “comprehensive” argument for why Dancing with the Stars is better than football.

And a huge shoutout to our brave audience members who jumped into PowerPoint Karaoke, delivering on-the-spot talks about The Secret Lives of Office Supplies and Do Worms Dream?! You all were incredible!

We’re already looking forward to hosting more events like this in the future. If you have an idea for a show or are interested in using our space, we’d love to hear from you!
