THURS SEPT 10 (7-9P): Swampgrass ~ Energetic, vibrant & DC-based, Swampgrass plays acoustic instruments and pushes them as far as they’ll go with a repertoire that spans classic bluegrass and gospel to rock and more progressive songs. Swampgrass includes Jake (Dobro/vocals), Matt W. (Mandolin/vocals), Matt B. (Bass/vocals), Chad (Bajno/vocals) and Geoff (Guitar/vocals).

WED SEPT 9 (7-9P): Jay Bellamy ~ A Greenbelt mainstay whose originals and covers are played in the style of folk and country. Tom Gleason will play an opening set and Greenbelt rock & roll author Mark Opsasnick will be the guest MC for the evening.

TUES SEPT 8 (6-9:30P): New Deal Open Mic w/Tom Gleason ~ 6P Sign ups begin (put your name in the hat). 6:15P Names drawn to determine playing order 6:30P Open Mic begins (slots are 2 songs or 10 minutes total including set up and breakdown time). Certain slots are reserved for newcomers and out of towners (see host for more info).

MON SEPT 7 (2:00-4:00PM): DC Labor Chorus Labor Day Concert and Sing-Along ~ A musical ensemble founded and directed by longtime cultural worker Elise Bryant that sings at concerts, rallies, demonstrations, and picket lines in the D.C. area. "We sing for solidarity. We sing for peace. We sing for jobs. We sing for justice. We sing for joy."

FRI SEPT 4 (8-11P): MauvIN GraYE & The GRAYELINE Band (Mike Bennett ~ INFINITE is "MauvIN GraYE"): MauvIN GraYE is what you would get if Ray Charles could pop lock, moonwalk & play guitar! This is funk-n-roll and hip-hop-soul.
