βοΈ CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE βοΈ
Thanks to many generous donors in recent months, we have so far raised over $446,000 that will go towards making some crucial updates around the Robert Lee Brault Playhouse!
With this campaign, we are planning to complete several essential projects that will improve the overall comfort of our patrons and quality of our productions, addressing both interior and exterior renovations while honoring the heritage of the theater and ushering in much-needed modernization, repairs, and refurbishes.
Our official goal is set at $600,000, and we are nearly 75% of the way there! We have also set a flex goal to help offset rising material, labor, and operation costs with an additional $50,000 β which means we still need your help!
In order to complete renovations by the start of our 90th anniversary season, we are calling on our community to help us raise the remaining funds within the next couple months. Every dollar given will support the planned projects to enhance your overall GBCT experience.
π PLANNED PROJECTS:
⒠Repair the weathered, exterior façade covering the original wooden 1853 church structure and paint its exterior to further protect the building
β’ Create a more manageable building entrance and seating options to accommodate patrons with disabilities and other physical needs
β’ Replace end-of-life furnaces and AC units and install all-new primary heating and air conditioning systems with improved efficiency
β’ Make crucial enhancements to stage lighting systems including new rigging and accompanying operating technologies
β’ Replace carpet and flooring and paint the interior of the theaterβββββββββ
β’ Replace the decades-old theater seating with wider, more comfortable seating
We are incredibly grateful for all of the community members and organizations who have stepped up so far and appreciate your consideration to help us maintain the livelihood of arts and live theater in Green Bay!
