The Weidner Philharmonic's 2026-2027 Concert Series begins this Thursday, September 10th with a program called MOMENTUM. The concert explores the relationship between music and motion and features a world premiere of a collaborative work between UWGB Music faculty composer Michelle McQuade Dewhirst and Chicago-based tap dancer Jumaane Taylor!

Oh, and since we're in Green Bay, we're throwing a pre-concert tailgate party, featuring food trucks, outdoor games, and performances by the UW-Green Bay Pep Band and drumlines from Green Bay Preble High School and Ashwaubenon High School!

This past Saturday night's collaboration concert presented by our Virtuosi Live! friends was a feast for the eyes and ears!! The word WOW doesn't seem to fully express this awesome performance! Congratulations to The Weidner Philharmonic, the Concert Choir from UW-Green Bay and Dudley Birder Chorale as well as the 4 fantastic soloists. AND...Virtuosi Live! announced their 2026-2027 season.
