This past Saturday night's collaboration concert presented by our Virtuosi Live! friends was a feast for the eyes and ears!! The word WOW doesn't seem to fully express this awesome performance! Congratulations to The Weidner Philharmonic, the Concert Choir from UW-Green Bay and Dudley Birder Chorale as well as the 4 fantastic soloists. AND...Virtuosi Live! announced their 2026-2027 season. This past Friday afternoon, Robin Spielberg presented a Music & Mental Health workshop in Fort Howard Hall prior to playing Friday evening and Saturday afternoon performances, all as part of Virtuosi Live's concert series in collaboration with The Weidner and Brown County Civic Music Association. Robin received some lovely feedback after the workshop which she shared with BCCMA. With the approaching Weidner Philharmonic concert (VL's season finale) coming up this Saturday, we share these comments from a workshop attendee/ Dudley Birder Chorale member:

"I was especially intrigued by your lecture on the benefits of music in health. I’ve long-enjoyed music as an important part of my life having taken piano lessons until high school, sung in church choirs since early childhood and continue to do so. But I was not aware of the discipline of Music Therapy and its potential in human health and disease. Next week I’ll be part of a 150 member chorale group who will sing the “Ode to Joy” as part of a performance by the Weidner Symphony Orchestra. What an exciting experience."
