Congratulations to local musician Jenna Kopitske for breaking through to greater things. Great to see talent attaining success beyond the tiny market that is Wisconsin. Jenna brought her skills to an upstart Green Bay band that cratered in ‘21… but she is on to a much brighter future. All the best.

Artists and other creatives have one of the highest su***de rates. The 4% (do the math) noted below contribute to 100% of su***des. Doing nothing is a cowardly and selfish act… perhaps the most cowardly and selfish act there is. Most often these 4% are afraid of what taking action will do to themselves. Empathy is what will save many. So few are able to recover without help.

The Green Bay Original Arts Series supports those in need of help.

People of Green Bay… the inaugural Original Art Series was a very positive event. As expected, the talent was top of the pops and delivered! 7000apart and Amelia Ford both delivered powerful passionate sets. RRTUT displayed fabulous art and also voiced an inter-set outcry. The venue was very good and delivered on sound, lights, and general atmosphere… thank you Backstage Meyer.

As promised, all top quality on par with much larger venues in larger markets.

The event was modestly attended and did not cover operating costs… but the deserving artists’ compensation was not compromised, and the quality of the event proved worthy.

Currently planning a follow up, learning from this event, but most importantly will be asking for support and attendance. If you ask someone who went, I am sure you will hear good things.

It’s been a wonderful week of written press and television. A rainy evening in GB tonight, but as I look at the Meyer from my front balcony I’m filled with happiness and the hope of a growing original art scene in Green Bay. A top-line branding of arts and creativity for our working City continues to grow. I hope I see you tomorrow at the show… wonderful musicians and cutting edge painted art on display. Go arts!
