⛸️ In Loving Memory of Anthony Joseph Conte
May 19, 1930 – October 3, 2026 🤍

The Great Neck Figure Skating Club lost a very special member of our skating family.

Anthony truly loved skating. He didn’t even begin until the age of 65, proving that it is never too late to find something you love. Skating became one of his favorite activities, and for so many years, he was a wonderful part of our club and our shows. He knew everyone, everyone knew him, and he continued performing on the ice. ⛸️❤️

What an incredible reminder to keep doing what brings you joy, no matter your age.

As we look back at the photos and memories of Anthony’s years with the Great Neck Figure Skating Club, there really is only one song that could accompany them his favorite, Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

And that’s exactly how Anthony lived and skated…his way. ❤️

Rest peacefully, Anthony. Thank you for the memories, the smiles, and for showing generations of skaters that the ice is for everyone, at every age.

You will always be remembered as part of our skating family. ⛸️🤍
