I’ve restocked the shop with new bird houses and totems. I’ve also added bee cups to my inventory. Can you tell I’m ready for spring and to play in the garden?
I’m in the studio Wednesday through Saturday from Noon to 5 pm.

I’ve been quiet on social media but have been busy in the studio with classes and trying some new things. With spring finally here my mind is on the garden. My obsession has been bees 🐝🌼 I’ve been making bee watering cups for the garden and big bees for totems. There’s often a learning curve when I tackle something new and the bees are no exception. Out of the 8 I made for totems only 5 survived the firing intact.
I hope to assemble a few new totems in time for Mother’s Day. I’ll post pictures when I have them done. They will definitely have bees on them.

I’m in the studio through Saturday, December 20 from noon - 5 pm. After that I’m taking a break to spend time to enjoy the holidays. I’ll be back in the new year.

I’ve jumped in with both feet and no concrete plan on how to keep the heavenly choirs’ halos afloat. I’m hoping to have the first of these out of the kiln by this weekend. I’ll fire the rest after I know what works. I’m hoping the wire holding the halos on the tall angels holds everything in place. Most of the little angels will get their halos after they are fired.

I’m carving the last pot of summer and mentally preparing for fall 🍂
