That curve caught my eye twice, once in the branch, and again on the ridgeline.

Spend time with people who remind you of who you’re becoming, not who you’ve been.

Over the last few week clouds have made it impossible to get to the spots I want for star shots, but they have a way of adding their own nuances. It’s a reminder to look beyond what you hoped for and appreciate what is right in front of you.

The future you is depending on the present you to keep the promises you made to yourself yesterday.

This night was a promise kept. I had been unsuccessfully chasing the aurora for over a year but was rewarded with this scene and hours of awe.
