“I am so honored to have been chosen to create the First Responders mural in Great Bend! I will do my very best to memorialize their service and sacrifice to your community through this mural. I can’t wait to meet you all in July!”

Mural artist, Madeline Deiters, has been honing her skills since 2021 with more than 20 murals in Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and soon Great Bend, Kansas! Her clients have included city governments, federal art grants, universities, and private commissions ranging up to 10,000 square feet.

She believes that art should be an essential piece of the landscape, woven into the local culture for small towns as well as cities. It is her belief that children deserve to grow up with art all around them to elevate expectations for themselves and their communities. Her art is grounded in the good, the true, and the beautiful which never fails to delight, inspire, unify, and uplift.
