To Our Valued Guests:
In an effort to continue to ensure the safety of our guests, and out of an abundance of caution, the Triplex is updating our COVID policies. In line with a number of local and regional businesses the Triplex will be restricting all screenings to fully vaccinated patrons or those who have a negative COVID test within 48 hours of attending. In addition to the following requirements all Triplex staff members are fully vaccinated and will continue to wear masks.
As of Friday September 10th patrons will be required to provide proof of vaccination. Acceptable forms of proof include your physical vaccination card, a digital copy, or New York State’s Excelsior Pass; paired with your photo ID.
In the event vaccination is not an option, we will accept a negative COVID-19 test (within 48 hours of attendance). Children under the age of 12 may simply wear a mask.
Additionally, we will be asking all patrons to remain masked while in the lobby regardless of vaccination status. Masks may be removed only while seated in the auditoriums.
We will continue to follow state guidelines and the safety protocols we put in place when we first reopened our doors in May:
Reduced capacity with limited seating (encouraging purchasing tickets online ahead of time)
Fewer showtimes with longer intermissions to properly clean & sanitize each auditorium after every showing
Socially distanced seating in all auditoriums with ushers to facilitate seating
Face masks worn by all staff
Providing hand washing and sanitizing stations located throughout the theater
Thorough cleaning & sanitizing of all high touch surfaces
Face masks required in the lobby. Face masks are allowed to be removed only while seated in the auditorium and eating.
We will be continually updating our procedures in order to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.
The Triplex Cinema has always strived to be a community theater and it will take our entire community, working together, to keep each other safe. You can do your part by following the guidelines at the theater while you kick back, relax, and enjoy the show!

“The Last Duel” (R for violence, graphic nudity, sexual assault and language)
The Last Duel is a cinematic and thought-provoking drama set in the midst of the Hundred Years War that explores the ubiquitous power of men, the frailty of justice and the strength and courage of one woman willing to stand alone in the service of truth. Based on actual events, the film unravels long-held assumptions about France's last sanctioned duel between Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris, two friends turned bitter rivals. Carrouges is a respected knight known for his bravery and skill on the battlefield. Le Gris is a Norman squire whose intelligence and eloquence make him one of the most admired nobles in court. When Carrouges' wife, Marguerite, is viciously assaulted by Le Gris, a charge he denies, she refuses to stay silent, stepping forward to accuse her attacker, an act of bravery and defiance that puts her life in jeopardy. The ensuing trial by combat, a grueling duel to the death, places the fate of all three in God's hands. Starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer and directed by Ridley Scott.
