It’s going to be a great day on Grayson Main Street with Explore Grayson Ky!!
The days are getting cooler, the leaves are falling, and that means we are getting closer and closer to Grayson making its *SPOOKTACULAR* transformation into our very own little Halloween Towne! 🎃
Lots and lots to do during Grayson Octoberfest this year!
🎨We’re kicking off the weekend with the Grayson Gallery & Art Center, Inc. annual Halloween Art Show and COSTUME CONTEST! While you build up an appetite from enjoying all of the wonderful artwork from regional artists, haunt your way over the BCF/Grayson Cabin Garden for Fairy lights in the Garden and enjoy some delicious S’MORES! 🍫
👻Both Friday AND Saturday night you can join Charles Romans for a guided walking tour of HAUNTED GRAYSON from 5:30-8pm!
🥞Saturday morning, gather the family up and head to Prichard Elementary for some delicious *FREE* pancake breakfast during the Hocus Pocus Pancake breakfast where the Sanderson Sisters are ready for photos and will also be brewing up some fun activities for the kiddos! (And kids at heart).
👑 Once you’ve gotten good and full, jump on your broom and fly on up to Main Street to the main stage and support the guys and ghouls at the Octoberfest Pageant!
🍴 Octoberfest Vendor Market and the Boos & Bites Food Court will be opening at 11 AM! Check out all of the awesome vendors, delicious food trucks, and for the grown-up guys & gouls check out West 6th Brewing who will be bringing their craft b**r to Halloween Towne from their microbrewery in Lexington, KY!
🎃KIDS ZONE will open at noon on Saturday on Main Street, and boy does Halloween Towne have it all!
Inflatables, activities, games, and entertainment for the whole family…. AND pony rides!
📕Kids will also be able to enjoy story time at the library, where they will be reading “ It’s the great pumpkin Charlie Brown” with host Pam Lewis!
🐾Don’t forget when you bring the whole family that includes four-legged friends to enter in the Doggy Costume Contest and parade!
🎤  Put your talent to the test when we join DjMj Entertainment on the main stage at 2:30 for SCARY-oke! Monster mash away to the stage and possibly even take home a *cash prize* for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
🧟🧟♀️Everyone gather around Main Street to see a parade of terrifying proportions as the Monster Mash kids parade begins at 4:30! Be sure if you have a kiddo that wants to join in in the parade to bring them to lineup at 4 PM!
🍭🍬Directly after the parade, folks can head over to 2nd Street where there will be trunk or treat at both first Church of Christ and Bayless Presbyterian Church!
☕️ Enjoy some of the brew from the cauldron at Nook & Cranny Coffeehouse where they will be having storytelling throughout the evening! Family, friendly stories will be told at the beginning of the evening until 630 after that it’s recommended that only ghost single goals over the age of 16 attend, as a story, become spooky and spooky as the night grows darker.
🎸🔥 Join Dustin Burchett around the fire for a campfire session! Hang out and enjoy local talent, and music or even join along for an evening of open Mic!
Lots more activities to be announced, including everything from activities for the kiddos to ghost hunts after dark 👀
