Step a little closer. 🖼️

Mixed media is exactly what it sounds like. More than one material, working together on a single surface. Layers of paint, texture, pigment, and detail, each one adding depth the eye can feel before the mind can name it.

In portrait work, that layering is everything. It's how skin catches light, how fabric holds weight, how a face becomes more than a likeness and starts to feel alive.

Every piece I create is built this way. Layer by layer, material by material, until the story on the surface matches the one in the room.

The Lee family sat down and shared their honest experience working with me. They didn't have to get on camera. They chose to, just to speak on what this portrait means to them and I truly appreciate them.

Watching them stand in front of their painted portrait, arm in arm, is the whole reason I do this. It's never just an image on a wall. It's your family, your love, your legacy, preserved in a way that lasts for generations.

Some love stories don't need a pose. They just need a moment.
A spontaneous dance above the water, the Atlanta skyline standing witness, and golden trees applauding in the background. This is what happens when you stop performing for the camera and simply enjoy each other.
Every portrait we create is finished as a painted work of art, designed to hang in your home for generations. Not a snapshot. An heirloom.
Now booking fine art couples sessions for fall. The trees are already rehearsing their colors.

Some commissions are more than a painting. They're a promise kept. 🎨✨

A couple of years ago, I had the honor of meeting Judge Tuwanda Rush Williams while she was on the campaign trail. She was warm, genuine, and real. The kind of person you don't forget. When she won, I made her a promise: I would create a piece to celebrate this moment.

This spring, I got to walk into her chambers and see that promise hanging on the wall. 🖤❤️

There's nothing like seeing your work live in the space of someone you admire. A portrait that honors not just a title, but the woman, the journey, and everything she fought to achieve. Congratulations, Judge Williams. It was a privilege to help commemorate your legacy.

They met in the 8th grade. More than 30 years of marriage later, they stood in their living room and watched their portrait take its place on the wall. Swipe to see the moment.
