College of Lake County Theatre Department We perform five high-quality productions per year and offer an Associate in Arts degree in theatre.

We present five fully mounted productions each year, including a children’s production in the fall and a musical in the summer. Each season is carefully chosen to showcase the best classical and contemporary plays as well as present a variety of theatrical genres and styles. Theatre courses are approved for a seamless transfer to Illinois colleges and universities under the Illinois Articulation I

nitiative. Courses include: Introduction to Theatre, Acting I and II, Stagecraft, Directing, Stage lighting, Stage Makeup and special topics courses.
