This fluted lidded jar is wearing three of my new glazes: Rods Yellow, Ochre, and Sweetwater Green. When glasses work well together it gives you more than just the combination of the individuals. It's multiplicative - together they create glaze children. So this one enjoys four different glaze sections created by overlapping the three. Enjoy!

Wood Fired Stoneware Vase. This is a stoneware vase I fired in the "Vatagama" at Clemson University. I used a technique I learned from Mike Dodd where I applied feldspar ton the outside of the freshly thrown form. This combined with the ash from the firebox to produce an interesting glazed surface.
