We have decided not to run a Christmas light show this year.

A number of props, cabling, and electronics need a notable amount of repair. Plus we have more new things to add to the show. We simply do not have time available to do the work and have it ready by next Thursday.

The plan is to take the time between now and next November to get ready for hopefully a banger of a show.

We will be posting on this page locations that have lights running as we have done in the past

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.

Well the big bad wolf has been huffing and puffing and as I put it up he blows it down. But the show will be running tonight.

We are up and running from 6:00 until 10:00 each night. We are still working on a few things but it looks pretty good 😊

Testing tonight - most things are looking good. Some of the pumpkins look like they are smashed.

We will be running the show starting at 6pm to 10pm every night through Halloween.

And the work goes and so will the show. Tonight and tomorrow we are testing. All things are blinky flashy but not in the right order.
Also we are still waiting on some replacement electronics ( did get a shipping notification today !). The number of props we can control will be limited - so lets call it a soft opening. Over the next week we will be adding more to the display.

Well there is always something... Today I had planned on running the wires and testing our microcontrollers. And discovered a family of mice decided that building a nest in the box that housed our main controller, network, RPI, and other cables was good idea. Especially gnawing on the wires as a tasty treat.

Fear not, we have backup equipment I need to configure and replacement parts will be here on Monday.

Short of other life events we plan on being live next weekend.

Stay tuned for updates.
