What do we do when the garden tomatoes overflow? Make fermented salsa! I’ve found in MO’s heat, the initial ferment really only takes about a day so these should be ready to eat or refrigerate by tonight. In the fridge these savory live-ferments will taste and feel like fresh salsa for months to come...assuming any is left by then. 😜

I haven’t posted any Fiber-Fest haul photos since getting home from Fiber U but promise to remedy that soon. Instead, I’ve been busy painting this fore-edge of “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” in time for my local fair tomorrow. Usually it happens the same weekend as Fiber-U so I didn’t even consider it till Monday. I’ve spent a LOT of time drawing and painting since then! I enjoy it, but am definitely looking forward to relaxing some tomorrow!

Came home from the fiber fest weekend to a bunch of produce ready for eating! And SOoooo many tomatoes on the vine!
