In April this year, Wyatt and I decided to see if our art might have a market here. We signed up for a fair and then frantically created inventory and designed our booth.
I was pretty terrified, but at my stage in life, I really needed to know what was possible. And we dressed up for the Ren Fair, and we greeted folks and talked about art and the day and if they made their own costume. And I traded 'trinkets' with yougsters - I had a ball and found that the talking was so good. I loved sharing and hearing about art.
We are still thinking about the best way to bring the art to the market. Fairs in the blazing sun might not be on my regular rotation, but I feel sure that we will find out venue.
