☔ We Didn't Let the Rain Rain on Our Parade! ☔

This weekend's BBQ for those who purchased a seat at our October Gala, was originally planned as an afternoon gathering with great music, great company, and six delicious meats at a beautiful private residence. While Mother Nature had other plans, the Music in the Mountains family didn't let a little rain dampen the fun!

Our incredible volunteers helped pivot to a drive-through barbecue pickup, where guest received pulled pork, sausage, tri-tip, prime rib, brisket, pork ribs, and potato salad.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success and to our guests for embracing the change with such enthusiasm and good spirits!

And the best part? This is only an intermission!

The BBQ has been rescheduled for September 19, when we'll gather once again for great food, live music, and wonderful company.

Thank you for being part of the Music in the Mountains family. We can't wait to celebrate with you in September!

Get more out this summer's festival when you join us for a special online presentation, "Musings with the Maestro: Exploring the Music of SummerFest 2026," led by Artistic Director and Conductor Ryan Murray, on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:00 PM.

Part of the popular Musings with the Maestro series, this engaging virtual conversation offers an insider's preview of the music featured in Music in the Mountains' 45th Annual SummerFest, running June 21 through July 11. Maestro Murray will guide participants through the stories, composers, and musical moments behind this summer's extraordinary program — from the radiant genius of Mozart to the sweeping drama of Rimsky-Korsakov, the raw emotion of Leoncavallo, and the soaring Americana of John Williams.
