Crimson cried herself to sleep Sunday night after they had to cancel the last round of OTB Open due to severe weather. She has been mentally and physically preparing for this weekend for 6 + months it is no question the most exciting tournament of the year for her. It’s the one weekend you get to play the same course as the pros a week before they come to town. She was only 4 strokes back from the leader and that morning she kept saying over and over how she was gonna win it, she was so locked in I couldn’t wait to watch her play. We showed up like 3 hours early to watch her friends finish their tournaments and get nice and warmed up. Only to get the news about an hour or so before she teed off. That’s it, it’s over wherever you are right now is where you finish. The tournament directors made the right call, but it still hurt and was devastating for everyone involved.
Lessons were learned, tears were shed, can’t wait till next year! 🫶
