When the golden hour light after a storm hits juuuuust right inside the gallery…

How lucky are we to share this amazing space and locally made art with locals and visitors to Grantsville. Come on in and have a chat. Whether it’s about the building (which is the barn for the old Stanton’s Mill) or the latest work we’ve gotten in from a local artist, we’re here! Open from Thursday to Saturday, 11-4pm.

Thursday After Hours at the Gallery Shop, Too!

That’s right friends, we’re staying open a few extra hours Thursday night! We’ve noticed a lot more activity in the late afternoon, early evening hours so we thought we’d take the leap and stay open a few hours on Thursday nights.
Gallery “Happy Hours” if you will. But please don’t come in looking for happy hour specials, you’ll have to walk up the lawn to The Mountain Grape Tavern - Grantsville Restaurant for that 😉 The lightning bugs are about to hit their prime, it’s a scene along the Casselman Riviera you do not want to miss.

Same great local art, under the twinkle lights.

We’re looking forward to participating in this years Artist Studio Tour!

We’re looking forward to participating in this years Artist Studio Tour!

Join us for the 2026 Garrett County Artist Studio Tour on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from 11 am to 5 pm at studios and creative spaces across Garrett County!

Today's featured artist is Maureen Sheaffer of Pocket Garden Blooms , who you'll find at Stop A: The Gallery Shop, Too in Grantsville, where she keeps a 2nd Floor Studio.

Maureen Sheaffer is an artist and designer living in Grantsville, MD. She has a Master of Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has been working as an architectural designer in the area for over
14 years.

Sheaffer launched Pocket Garden Blooms as a cut flower garden in 2022, but quickly pivoted to pressing flowers as a way to preserve the ephemeral beauty of her backyard garden. Maureen also creates paper weavings that begin as botanical ink drawings. Her latest project is called Place Memory. She is interested in
abstractly diagramming places of significance to her through embroidery markings.
