The Civic Park Concert Series is happening tonight from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, bringing live music, great energy, and a chance to connect with friends, neighbors, and fellow Granite City residents. Grab a lawn chair, bring the family, and enjoy an evening of free entertainment in the park.

At Effervescent Studios, we believe community happens both on and off the dance floor, and supporting local events like this helps keep Granite City vibrant and thriving.

🎉 WAIT... WHAT!? A WAIT LIST!? 🎉

Five years ago, when I opened the doors to Effervescent Studios, I never imagined I would one day be writing these words...

We officially have a wait list. ❤️

To be completely honest, it is one of the greatest blessings and one of the most terrifying realities of owning a small business at the same time.

Every day, messages come in from people wanting to learn how to dance, reconnect with their partner, prepare for a wedding, gain confidence, make new friends, or simply try something they've always dreamed of doing. The fact that so many people trust us with that journey is something I will never take for granted.

Because of that, I wanted to share a little insight into how lessons work here at the studio.

Dance lessons aren't designed to be a one-time experience. While popping in for a single lesson sounds fun, our goal is to help people truly grow in their understanding of movement, connection, confidence, and dance. Whether you're dancing by yourself or with a partner, learning happens through consistency and practice.

Wedding couples and students preparing for special events will always receive priority scheduling, and my veteran students—the folks who have been showing up week after week, year after year—will always have a place on the dance floor.

So if dancing has been on your mind, my biggest recommendation is simple:

📞 Reach out sooner rather than later and get your name on the list.

While many of our evening hours are currently full, we still have availability Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM for anyone looking to shake up their morning routine, learn something new, or treat themselves to an hour of movement and joy.

🎉 HAPPY JUNE!!! 🎉

We are ready to get on the floor and dance the night away!

Tonight we continue our Hustle adventure at 7:00 PM, and if you’ve been thinking about joining us, tonight is the perfect night to jump in!

Since we have several new faces interested in learning, we’ll be doing an extensive review of everything we’ve covered so far to get everyone caught up. Once everyone is feeling comfortable, we’ll add some brand-new moves to keep the fun going!

The Hustle crew had such a blast in May that they voted to continue the class for another month. The laughs, friendships, and dance floor memories were simply too good to stop now.
