It turns September, and just like that it’s… dare I say…cold?! After last week‘s heat wave, this feels like a pretty dramatic plot twist. 🤪

Hot coffee hits different when there’s a chill in the air and apparently my Sun Beam paintings have entered their Fall era. Still bringing their Summer energy with warm tones and golden hour glow ☀️

LA really committed to the Italian summer theme for this one 🍊

I created a custom design with a little spritz still life complete with stripes, citrus and all the aperitivo energy for DOG PPL’s Italian summer theme this month.

Seeing a whole table bring it to life in their own way is always the best part. We may not have been sitting somewhere along the Italian coast, but the temperature was absolutely willing to participate.

One of my favorite parts about hosting Paint Parties at DOG PPL is exactly this. Paint everywhere, dogs weaving underneath tables, people channeling flow state and making something with their hands. A little dog/paint therapy, some chilled wine, and a whole lot of talent 👩🏼‍🎨 🎨

This river’s basically watched me grow up and fun fact, I grew up in these clothes too!!

My mama hand-painted these 100% cotton shorts as part of her clothing line Life Forms which she ran for over 30 years attending craft fairs and art shows. I was almost born in a cow pasture off I-5 on the way home from one of her shows, so you could say I’ve been along for the ride since day one 🤪

My sister has since taken over Lifeforms and releases seasonal collections now and then. What’s wild is these are all one of ones so once they’re gone.. they’re gone! Hard to part with any of them actually but pretty special getting to wear a little piece of my roots and to share it all with you!! 🫶🏼

Had WAY too much fun painting this custom BARK Boards Inc. | Surfboards & Paddleboards board for goodwipes. I don’t surf, but after seeing her finished… maybe that’s next.. 🤪
