✨ GRADUATING SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Congratulations to our Graduating Senior dancer Leilani! Leilani has been a member of our Company for the last 2 years, competing in jazz, contemporary, and hip hop genres, as well as performing multiple lead roles in our productions, including Snow Queen & Spanish Chocolate in The Nutcracker, and Stepmother in Cinderella. She will also be starring as Davy Jones in our upcoming production of Pirates of the Caribbean. Highlights from her years in Company include receiving a scholarship from Fluid Dance Convention, and her senior solo receiving multiple recognitions at various dance competitions including 1st in Category, Choreography Award, and Standout Dancer award. Leilani, we are so proud of you & can’t wait to see what your future holds! 💜

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: I will be attending college on the coast and studying fashion design & dance.
Q: What have you most loved about dancing at Reyha?
A: My favorite thing about dancing at Reyha is that it has a wonderful atmosphere for enabling so much emotional growth and skill growth in dance and life.
Q: What advice would you give to younger dancers just starting their dance journey?
A: Advice I would give to any dancer starting their dance journey is that dance can become one of your greatest forms of self expression if you let it. Always show people how perfectly individual you are through your dancing, and always put emotion into your movement.
Q: What is your favorite dance style and why?
A: My favorite dance styles are hip hop and jazz. The movement quality in both styles feel very natural for me, and I feel I have the most self expression when I dance those styles specifically.
Q: What is a non-dance related fun fact about yourself?
A: I have a very active passion for ceramics, yoga, meditation, and art.
