Aralee Hearns is a sophomore at GHS, and is currently one of the many amazing social media managers for the theatre cabinet! Aralee was also inducted into the ITS. She has been in 5 productions. Those include Fame Jr., High School Musical Jr., Addams Family, This Murder Was Staged, and Plots. While being in the backstage and tech areas, Aralee is also attempting to build up her confidence and perform on stage. On the outside of theatre, Aralee participates in band. In the future, Aralee hopes to become a band director or graphic design artist! Some of her favorite shows include Hamilton, Mean Girls, and Heathers. Her dream roles would be Veronica from Heathers, Heather Chandler from Heathers, Regina George from Mean Girls, Angelica Schuyler from Hamilton, and Maria Reynolds from Hamilton.

Meet One of our new Social media Managers Abby Murdock, Abby Murdock is a Junior at Grandview High School, and currently one of GHS theatre cabinet’s social media managers! She is also a newly inducted member of ITS, and a cappie! Some of her past roles are Antigone in ‘Antigone Now’, Serena in ‘Fame Jr.’, Suzanna in ‘This Murder Was Staged’, Margaret in ‘Plots’ and Ensemble in both ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ and ‘Addams Family’. Outside of theatre, Abby participates in choir and art. In the future, she plans to attend an art school for some kind of illustration major, mainly hoping to go to the Kansas City Art Institute for her choice of art school, before then getting a tattoo artist apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist. A few of her dream roles are any role in Heathers: The Musical (mainly Veronica or Heather Duke though!), and Anne Boleyn in SIX the musical.
