Inland Empire Handweavers Guild

Inland Empire Handweavers Guild The Inland Empire Handweavers Guild is an organization dedicated to the arts of weaving, spinning and dyeing. We have been active for over 60 years.

We believe in fostering the diverse world of these arts through mentoring, sharing and taking joy in the fiber arts. Our guild includes a diverse region: San Bernardino Mountains, the High Desert and the Valleys of the Inland Empire. We meet September-June on the second Monday of each month, with most meetings at the Azure Hills church in Grand Terrace. Monthly meetings include hands-on workshops,

lectures and demonstrations with nationally known leaders in the fiber arts. We also have a social meeting once a month on Sunday afternoons, currently at the Hands-On Knitting Center in Redlands. We do yearly guild challenges and participate in our community through outreach activities. The guild sponsors new weavers and spinners with mentors and beginning classes. In addition, the guild hosts a yearly 3-day intensive workshop on a specialty weaving technique.
