Happy to once again be hosting this contest on Saturday during the Motor City Irish Fest! It will be my first time as the so don't be looking for me in my trademark suit! 😉☘

One of our favorite things to attend every year while at the Motor City Irish Fest is the "Reddest Hair, Greenest Eyes and Most Freckled Contest" at the Wee Folks Tent! This year the event takes place on Saturday at 4:45PM! If your child or grandchild, (12 and under) has any or all of these attributes, be sure and bring them to the Children's Area at about 4:30 on Saturday, June 13th! 😉☘👨‍🦱

Before you say "I knew your retirement wouldn't last long," remember that I said I would always support Irish Dance in Michigan if asked! 😉 Motor City Irish Dance has ALWAYS been there for me when I asked, and I am honored they asked me to emcee their 2026 Celtic Legacy Show this coming Sunday!

Words alone cannot express the honor I feel to be recognised like this by the festival I had the pleasure of working on for 15 years! Thank you to the dedicated people that continue to bring you The Sparta Celtic Festival each year, and especially for celebrating the youth of the festival's future! My heart is full and I appreciate the recognition. 💚

The Sparta Celtic Festival is proud to introduce the Heart of the Festival Scholarship in honor of Liam "the retired" Leprechaun who retired after 15 years of service to the festival!💚☘️

Created to celebrate kindness, community spirit, leadership, and the joy Liam brought to so many, this scholarship will help support future generations of youth who carry the heart of our festival forward.
