There’s something special about working with people who genuinely care about the event they’re creating. 💛

I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of Sundays at the Market. The coordinators are amazing, their entire crew is always so kind, and they’ve created such a welcoming space for vendors and the Ionia community.

I’m very grateful The Sparkling Grotto gets to be included. ✨

I refuse to make a split cake just to use it once. 😂

So for this week's GTX Color of the Week, I used Coal to replace an old split cake that was VERY ready for retirement.

Coal + Bluebonnet + True White gives me something I can use for Halloween right now, but also for Batman, sharks, winter designs, claws, masks and plenty of other designs year-round.

That's the kind of experimenting I actually love. Not just "what can I paint with this color?" but "how can I make this color useful in my working kit?"

And yep... this one is staying. 👀

Apparently, the fastest way to my heart is to tell me I followed directions well. 😂

That was the compliment I received from the activities coordinator at MSU.

It sounds a little like something you’d put on a kindergarten report card, but honestly? I’ll take it.

Event coordinators already have approximately 47 things happening at once. My job is to show up, listen, follow the event instructions, and handle my part without becoming thing number 48.

Also, making sparkly green Spartans helps. 💚✨

FREE face painting is coming to Sozo Coffee Roasting this Saturday! 🎨☕️

The Sparkling Grotto will be there from 11–2 with original artwork and a few custom Sozo-inspired designs created especially for their 20th Birthday Bash.

Bring the kids, grab a coffee, and help us celebrate 20 years of Sozo. Adults are welcome in the painting chair too!

The gift bag gets to be the activity. 🎨

For a hand-painted holiday gift bag party, I bring the supplies, set up the project, and guide everyone through making a bag of their own. Then they leave with something they actually created, ready to hold a gift or be the gift.

A little paint, a little holiday music, and nobody has to wonder what the group is going to do together. ✨

These are real examples from different events, not one birthday party. For a private birthday, we can choose face painting or a glitter-bar option that fits your guests. You don't have to know which one makes sense before you reach out. We'll figure it out together.

You'll find me in a Sparkling Grotto T-shirt and jeans or leggings. I need to move, lean over my kit, and work without worrying about a cape dipping into the paint.

Paint ends up on me anyway. Sometimes my hands. Sometimes my forehead. The shirt knew what it signed up for.

I'm there to make the experience fun and keep things moving. The artwork can be the fancy part. ✨
