For over 30 years, Teton Gravity Research has defined ski and snowboard filmmaking. Join us for the 2026 film, featuring world-class athletes, breathtaking cinematography, and the biggest mountain adventures of the year.

"Actually, It Is Rocket Science" is the newest chapter in TGR’s ongoing study of the fall line, told through the world’s best skiers as they turn the mountain into a laboratory and every descent into an experiment. So, is it rocket science—or is it not? Watch closely and decide for yourself.

The Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF) Traveling Tour presents a selection of standout and award-winning films from the most recent festival season, bringing the best of AAFF to audiences around the country and across the globe. These curated programs offer audiences the chance to experience the bold, innovative cinema that defines the Ann Arbor Film Festival -- the world’s oldest experimental and avant-garde film festival, bending minds since 1963!

This program is a double feature presenting 2 blocks of shorts, with one intermission. Including an introduction from Leslie Raymond, Executive Director of AAFF!

Make Your Own! -- Arrive early to learn how to make your own 16mm film loops! With Pickle Fort Film Collective! Materials provided. GRTV will also be on site with stop motion animation tools for creators to experiment and animate. Drop in, get creative, and see your ideas move frame by frame.

Tonight! Join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks for a film screening of “Best Day Ever,” a powerful new documentary that follows the stories of adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they navigate disability and regain independence with humor, attitude, and grit on mountain bike trails that dismantle ableism, build community, and become a blueprint for trails anywhere.

Following the 60-minute screening, Friends’ Executive Director Stacy Bare will moderate a panel of local disability, cycling, and adaptive sports advocates.
