This is why you need to join Grumo Festival 2017!
Our 2017 Italian summer program, 9th Edition: from the Northern Alps, to the Eastern beaches, to the Southern Heel, to the Western Coast -- After one week of residency in the Italian Alps, enjoying the local culture, food, and communities of Tesero and Cavalese, we'll perform our first tour concert in the historical Palazzo della Magnifica Comunita' in Cavalese. We'll travel to Casa Verdi in Milan, where notable operatic composer Giuseppe Verdi is buried. For this performance we'll enjoy playing on Horowitz's own piano. We'll have some time to visit Milan in the morning, spend some time downtown between the famous Duomo and the Scala Theatre. After a delicious dinner under the trellis in Verona, we'll be ready for a beach day, after which our journey will continue down to the Apulia region. There we'll enjoy the unique experience of family hospitality for a couple of days, performing two marvelous outdoor concerts, immersing ourselves in typical Southern warmth. From there we'll travel to Naples for a concert at Palazzo Venezia, and the day after we'll settle on the hills of Velletri, nearby Rome, at a local typical agriturismo, for our final concert. Upon the conclusion of the festival, enjoy as much time as you choose to explore Rome, before saying arrivederci to another wonderful edition of the Grumo Festival.
