I had such a great time at the special ArtPrize Artist event. I am very thankful for each opportunity already and this festival hasn’t even technically started. All of the artists that I met were so unique. My favorite part was asking the artists what their statement about their piece was. It is the most moving thing to hear an artist tell you their why.

Come on out and shake my hand at the OFF AIR showing at the historical Wealthy Theater September 20 at 7pm!

(Shaking hands is a universal gesture that signifies peace, trust, and mutual respect by showing an empty, open hand with no weapons. It dates all the way back to ancient Greece.)

Big Joe saw my Facebook posts about auditions and HE reached out. He was the FIRST media that reached out to interview me about this project! He really cares about telling good and meaningful stories!
I hope something big opens up where he can continue to tell the story of Grand Rapids.
