The End?
Every chapter has to end at some point. Reddogg is where my original music journey started. It has long since passed. But the archives are there! Echo7sevenmusic will continue. just not as it was. It will be moving on to a new place with a different mission. I am moving on to the next chapter as well. Because it is just how it has to be. All done! Matching Seymour Duncan pickups. And it came to life! Used the wiring schematic from Duncan's website. Turned out awesome! I love it! Have a great week! See you soon! And remember to be good to each other!

Well this is exciting! Happy birthday to me! When I got this guitar it already had a Duncan pickup in the bridge position. But still has the stock one in the neck position. Honestly LTD could do better about the stock pickups they put in these things.😂🤣 Anyways, I bought the matching Duncan to replace the stock one, so maybe this thing will come alive! I have had this guitar on the bench, a lot! It wouldn't stabilize itself. It didn't matter what I adjusted, tweeked, nothing helped it. So I adjusted the truss rod just slightly to far tuned it and let it set for about 2-3 days when it was really humid out. Replaced the tuners with new Guykers. Reset the truss rod and ta-da! We have a player! After I swap the pickup this thing should be mint!🤌🏻

Hey all! It's been a minute...I apologize, recording and work have me ridiculously busy. Here's a snippet of what I have been doing. This is one of many songs I'm in the middle of. This one doesn't have a name yet. And it came about while recording parts for another song. That's how it goes... you're in the thick of recording and another riff comes out of nowhere. 🤣 So I felt I had to at least demo it! Lyrics will be added... that's my weakness...not writing them, but the melody for them takes a bit to find for me.... I don't know. Anyways I hope you all had a great holiday! Here's to another year! And this one, I feel is going to be a good one, with a lot of blessings, and good things to come! Hope you enjoy this. I'm still working out the YouTube stuff when I have half a minute. Tonight I'm working it out on the solos for the new song. Truth be known I haven't been doing much of anything with it for a couple weeks. I had this notion that I wasn't putting anything together that meant anything. It wasn't heavy enough, or it wasn't catchy enough. You could list a thousand other reasons why I was struggling. And the truth was that I was caught up in the worry. I was worried about whether anybody would like it. If it would fit into the expectations of the public at large. If it had enough teeth to bite on and claws enough to hold itself up. I worried that it wasn't as good as....And then out of nowhere none of it mattered. If I change my song, my way of expressing my music, for likes, clicks, the clout....then it's not my song to you anymore. It's just click bait. It's all for clout, it would be for all the wrong reasons. I'm not being very truthful to myself, as well as, not staying honest with you all. So I fired up the mill, grabbed that white, beast of a guitar and went to work. I'm writing and recording this stuff as a way to express my own mind, life, and experiences with you all. Some will like it, some won't. Some probably will have no clue I even exist. And all of that is fine. I have my little family including the doggo's in the wings. According to my page there are 75 people that follow this page. I can accept that only 6 or 7 people out of 75 will like or share it. That's still better than 0. My hope is to have this song done and released as a single very soon. I know I keep saying that I want to get back to making videos, and I will. It's just not in the cards at the moment. Until then be good to each other, love you all, and I will see you on the other side.
