The Schrock Bros Band is a Michigan based Americana/blues ensemble that features soulful lead vocals, family harmony, and solid musicianship. The Schrock Bros perform original music peppered with a collection of nuggets from the Americana archives. Over the past 10 years the quintet has performed at a multitude of festivals, concerts, clubs, and special events. In June of 2023 they released their
first full length recording entitled ‘Faith In Love’ to the delight of their longtime fans and new converts. Jasen Schrock brings his stage experience as an actor in Chicago theater, as lead singer of the ‘90’s neo-swing band The Blues Swingers, and as lead singer-songwriter in Chicago rock band Naked Mile. Andrew Schrock is a well-known Michigan front man in his own right, playing numerous gigs around the state of Michigan and the US at large with his bands Funktion and The Mainstays. Andrew is a gifted soulful singer and songwriter and holds down the bass lines in the Bros Band. Mark Schrock has been a fixture in the Michigan music community since 1974, as a member of Cabbage Crik, Iowa Rose, Jive At Five, Drew Nelson & Highway 2, Madcat Midnight Blues Journey and others. Mark contributes as a singer-songwriter and plays electric guitar and mandolin. Grammy award winning Peter Madcat Ruth has established an international reputation through his exhilarating, riveting virtuosity on the harmonica. He is equally at home playing blues, folk, jazz, country, or rock and roll. Madcat also leads his own Ann Arbor based project, the CARMa Quartet. Celebrated drummer Michael Shimmin is one of the most in-demand percussionists in the state of Michigan and beyond. Well versed in the styles of jazz, world, folk, rock, and classical music, Mike provides the perfect settings for the Bros wide repertoire.
