They have been forged from the gritty wilderness of the Midwest. Initially, performing in the sweat drenched basements of Michigan State University, the Turtles then surfaced in Chicago. Working 50+ hours a week for the same industry, "G-chatting" about the upcoming gig that night, sleeping for 5 hours, biking to work, and then doing it all over again. After 3 years of the heavy Chicago grind, the group decided to make the jump to full-time musicians. This included a move back to their home state of Michigan and the burgeoning music of Grand Rapids. They are the brothers of the lake water, notorious tamers of the tapping toe, wranglers of the funky feet movers, and minions of the night.
