This Monday, February 16th, I’ll again be collaborating with .studio and the amazing . We are doing a sound bath specifially curated for musicians and creatives of all types. So many of us are feeling the strain of social media, AI, politics, etc- there’s a lot impacting creative folks, and I hear about it during all of my collaborations. This is a series that we’re doing to really celebrate the artists, musicians, and creatives out there who are feeling the weight of the world that we’re living in, and still showing up to create beauty within it. I’d love if you join us. REALLY Y’ALL…. JUST… ARTISTS ARE DOING THE WORK OF SUSTAINING CULTURE AND HOPE NOW…. no joke, it’s big, it’s real, y’all deserve to rest and be celebrated.

Tomorrow! (Monday)! An ambient music soundbath and guided meditation specifically CREATED FOR musicians and creatives (or any type) who are stressed out about AI and the general state of the world.

Sunken Melody (aka ) will be performing his ambient set while the brilliant Tina Derusha leads a guided meditation. Tina is a creative herself- she’s been involved in the art world for years and is intimately aware of what it’s like. Y’all, trust me: she gets it. She speaks our language and knows our struggles. I’m so happy to be working with her, and excited for you all to be able to relax into the restful, communal space that she and Steve create. Stevie VanHorssen will also be sharing meditative practice.

This event is for anyone who makes music, creates art, or desires to create ANYTHING.
You’re the ones making real human culture in a time where AI is generating digital conglomerations of yesterday’s culture.

You’re bringing people together in a time where their loneliness is reaching epidemic levels.

You’re reminding people of the sacred in a time where every notification from their phone is stealing their attention away from it.

By making your art, by writing your songs, by sharing your genuine human emotions, you’re casting a vote for a future rooted in those values. And we need all of those votes we can get right now.

You’re doing the work that we all desperately need, and you’re doing it even when it’s unrewarding.
