In my shed/studio
I am 41 yrs old, grand rapids native, currently in grandville, mi. I painted this over the the winter of 2025. It is my first professionally prepped and executed acrylic painting. Culminating in a years work of self study, and practice. It is 30" x 20". I am self taught since July 3, 2025. I gave up a 20 year career as a foreman for a concrete company to follow my dreams of being an artist and teacher. I am currently homeless and I live in a shed. But this is something I've always dreamed of. I was assaulted by someone why putting the finishing touches on this painting and they ripped the canvas this spring, just because I was painting in punlic. I was able to fix it. But I don't think I can sell it as fine art anymore , unfortunately:( Thank you for taking interest in my art!!!
